AWS CLI configuration

This is an unfinished guide. Why is public? I found a better way of doing things, but didn't want to throw away my research on this so I may come back later and revisit it.

Use the AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI) to control AWS services from the command line and automate them using scripts.

AWS Command Line Interface

You will need an access key. Go to aws and click on your profile, then My Security Credentials and create a new Access key.

Make sure you download the key because you can't see it again once you hit close.

For region choose yours, mine was us-east-1

for format type: json

then type on terminal: aws configure
